Book Launch Party and Reading for Sarah K. Lenz's What Will Outlast Me?
Free!
7-9 PM
All Saints' Episcopal Church
3026 S Staples St
Corpus Christi, TX 78404
Please join us in celebrating the publication of Sarah K. Lenz’s debut book, What Will Outlast Me? by Unsolicited Press.
This memoir-in-essays explores the question: How do you live knowing you're going to die? Lenz touches on moments when death brushed near, including a house fire, a car accident, and a police shooting, but in each case, the violent and tragic are interwoven with curiosity and insight. This book is a moving, heartfelt meditation on how to face mortality, how to grieve, but most importantly, how to awaken to the ephemeral beauty of the world. This book is a powerful reminder that what will outlast us is those we love.
Lenz will read an excerpt from What Will Outlast Me?, and books will be available for purchase with a book signing to follow. To preorder a copy, visit sarahklenz.com or Amazon. Cake and light refreshments will be provided by the Fairy Baker of Paloma Street Market.
For more information, contact Sarah K. Lenz, authorsarahklenz@gmail.com
